The worry we all have is that we're being asked to buy a pig in a poke. A Sibelius 4 owner could have held out for 10 years then upgraded to Sibelius 8 for a single update fee. We've got used to being allowed to cherry-pick what updates we choose to buy. The cost is comparable to what you would have spent on updates, had you bought each one as it was released. Pay for them upfront, every year, or your entitlement to new versions at an "update" price will expire.
